In October 2000, I joined the Government Service as a Research Assistant of the Department of External Resources, Ministry of Finance and Planning. After 12 years of experience in Government Service, I started my own business as an entrepreneur.

I graduated as a Bachelor of Science (Business Administration) from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura, Sri Lanka in 1998. I obtained my first Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2003 and second Postgraduate Diploma in the field of Project Appraisal and Management from Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands in 2005. I am also a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka and Licentiate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. I have successfully completed several professional development programmes in accounting, financial management, economic development policy, and economic planning and management, conducted by reputable institutions in India, Korea, and Malaysia.
